Why I made it

It was a personal challenge: I wanted to see what I could sew on my new machine. The experiment turned into a squirrel.

What I learned

I had to manage sewing and turning really tiny pieces. It was my first time working with fleece, and I tried a dense zigzag stitch for edging the canvas parts (belly, tail, eye).
