Corduroy fanny pack

A fanny pack in sturdy dark green corduroy and natural cotton canvas, with a cotton strap in a matching shade. I drew the pattern myself, including the pockets and the zip opening.

Why I made it

I wanted to try sewing a small bag with a strap for my wallet and odds and ends, and it ended up as a classic fanny pack.

What I learned

With so many layers of fabric it was quite a challenge for a home sewing machine, but in the end we both made it. The hardest part was finishing the inside seams with binding at the very end.
